News Media reporting on guns and crime

I was watching Katie "Kitchen Door" Couric on the news and she put on a segment about high crime rate in Phylidelphia. It emphisized how all the blacks on the street had to carry guns to survive, how much murder had gone up since 02 and such. One 19yr old they interviewed had shot another teen 4 times but was showing the newsman his revolver. Then they showed a lot of guns they had confiscated and stated the people needed stricter "gun" laws.I wonder if it would do any good to take a person off the street that had shot someone 4 times and was still running around armed.I suppose I just dont know anything and taking guns from law abiding citizens will lead to less crime. There is another segment tomorrow evening.I believe the media is starting to wotk on us like they did in the Clinton years. sam.

It is simply a case of doing the same drill, on the same events, and they are going to get the same results. But will they learn??? No, they wont. I would like to see the proposed gun laws for the situation.

And this is not exactly new news. Same thing, different day isn't it? The libtard controlled media STILL sucks! And that's not new news either! If you keep watching the natl. news, it just makes you madder and madder 'cause it's all just a bunch of libtard propaganda mean't to befuddle and confuse the masses with disinformation, lies, and the liberal agenda.
(Now before somebody gets all popsickled, not all liberals are evil, wicked, mean and nasty. But those that are just make the others look bad by association.)

It's not about fighting crime - that's a hard job to do.

It's all about the Politicians doing 'something', anything, to show the great unwashed masses they are 'doing something to fight crime'. It's a whole lot easier to take an honest citizen's guns away than go out and bring the bad guys in.
Remember, it doesn't have to WORK . . . as long as folks can be hoodwinked into thinking the politician is doing something. It's all about votes.

Yet another killed overnight, bringing homicide toll to 236

A shooting in the city's Frankford section early Tuesday morning left one man dead, increasing the number of homicides to 236 in Philadelphia this year.
Police were called to a park in 2100 block of Wakeling Street, near Torresdale Avenue, just after 1 a.m. An unidentified 25-year-old male was found shot multiple times in the chest and arms, a police spokesman said.
The victim was taken to Hahnemann Hospital and pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m.
Police have no suspects.

And the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania does nothing, but let the genocide continue, and cry for more gun control.

It is much easier for politicians to pass gun control and make know nothing voters think they have done something than appropriate funding for law enforcement, judicial system, and correctional facilitys to actually keep the bad guys off the street.Furthermore every time they crack down on the people doing the crimes the news media starts screaming "RACIAL PROFILING".That costs the politicians black votes. sam.

Both stand around with their hand out depending on that type of politician to make government support them. The politicians can count on their vote as long as they can keep them in poverty and depending on government support. sam.

That kind of voter is the type that stand around with their hand out just like the blacks and depend on government to support them.Thats why they are poor and live in those conditions. And the politicians can get their votes as long as they can keep them in poverty so they have to depend on government to support them.Katie Kitchen Door and NBC have another segment on the evening news tuesday, tonight. sam.

As to the report on crime, I ask you, who cares? It's just not a big deal to them. They keep it up, year after year.... If they don't care, why should we?

I feel that I should not have to explain to a person with your intelligence that it was the news media that pushed the gun grabbing-gun control laws that happened during the Bill Clinton years the same as they are pushing the agenda that there is no threat from terrorists and the poor illegals are just hard working, undocumented souls that are needed in this country and we cant do without them. The fastest way to get the anti second ammendment people to pushing for stricter gun laws is put these documentarys on showing you and I as rapid fire, gun toting crazy radicals. You ask who cares,I do and I hope every gun owner does so we can send at least as much pro second ammendment letters and email to the politicians as the anti,s do.Politicians only worry about votes and if most of the chatter is from the anti gun people you can bet that is the way they will go.The anti second ammendment people are well funded and organised. How well are we second ammendment suporters even organised, say nothing to funding.I will try to stay informed,I hope you do to. sam.
