And when they pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor, they weren't kidding. You should read a listing of what happened to a lot of them.

I have a framed copy of the Declaration and bought som genuine parchment paper (yellowed, not pale) and printed in fancy writing the Bill of Rights with the lead words "The first 10 Amendments to the Constitution, PURPOSEFULLY CALLED the Bill of Rights" to sell and donate the $ to NRA/ILA or just give away to friends I think would frame and hang them in their living rooms. I also bought a reference book with all our important documents to reread and show others who need woke up or reminded why America exists.
Good post ezearln. So if that makes me a "domestic terrorist", well then that's OK with me. The Continental Army were common people like you and me. We ARE the unorganized militia. And it's not lost until we all are dead and can't fight no more. We have to fight with votes and petitions first, then we load our firearms and practice until the call goes out. Right ez?

Darn good post!

This is out of context.

Pred, can you tell me where to get my hands on any of those brochures?? I would like to get at least one but more is better. They would make for interesting conversation down at the VFW, American Legion and DAV. Sure would like some help finding them.
I had the page, with the text telling FBI agents and police,to watch NRA and other Pro/Gun groups, and think of them as radicals.I myself was stopped for my NRA stickers on my truck, and my truck searched. If I can find the page I'll post it's interesting, and sad.

It is good and sound advice to have everyone read and understand the constitution, the preamble, bill of rights and declaration of indepndence, mostly your children, do it at home because the school won't. after reading ez's post I read them again. My kids have all read them and been raised to belive they mean exactly what they say, not what some court wants to think they say. I think the goverment has long been subverting the ideas layed out in the constitution and the bill of rights. In order to achive and maintain their desired control over the masses, to continue to know what is best for us, each political party must try to strengthen its hold on the people. They do this by keeping us uninformed, uneducated, unable to provide for ourselves, and eventually unarmed. a self sufficient citizenry, armed with knowlege, a desire for freedom and weapons is a dangerous thing for the power hungry elite. Just think how it was for King George the 3rd back in 1776. our goverment officals make no attempt to hide what they desire: "We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans." / "The purpose of government is to rein in the rights of the people" /"You know the one thing that's wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say." these three statments were made by Bill Clinton, a man who was elected by the people to be the leader of our country 2 times. think about that. What do you suppose the founders of our country would have thought if they had heard that type of rhetoric. This is by no means an attempt to say that the other side of the isle is any better. Just a reminder of what we face in this great land. exercise your RIGHTS, because that is what they are, rights. Vote always, Keep and bear arms, stand up if some one challenges your rights or eventually they will dumb down enough people, they will take the fight out of the rest, and some court will tell us we have no rights at all.

It seems we all agree on the value of these words. but, we also agree there are those in power who seek to destroy these words or, at least, modify them to suit other unintended meanings. How should we deal with those folks? More to the point, as i/we already know how they should be delt with, how can we deal with them?

I Found The FBI Profiling Page.

NRA types, other gun organization members, cops or citizens, those who foolishly have pro-gun organization decals or stickers on your vehicles, you need to check out the FBI Bulletin site below ASAP.
You're all on the list of various Anti-Government "Extremists". Extremist is Administration code for terrorist. It seems, according to the FBI, that pro-gun stickers (i.e., NRA, JPFO, NSSF, L2AS, SAF stickers) are the same as "anti-government" stickers (Whatever they may be) and indicate extremist activity and potential danger to LEOS in traffic stops. Check out the below FBI site and Bulletin.
This is an excerpt from the Bulletin:

I got...The web page can not be found. If they do profiling because of pro gun bumper stickers then there monitoring Gun forums.

So with that said...Mike aka ArkansasHunter I am a law abiding citizen. I own 14 firearms that I use for Hunting, Plinking and Self defense due to the high crime rate in America today.
I am not out to over throw the Goverment of the United States nor am I out to harm my fellow man in anyway.
I believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ.
I am a Conservative and stake no claims to any of the current political partys.
I vote for the person who I believe who best represents the people of this great nation.
I do believe the Powers that be in Washington, DC do not any longer represent the will of the people.
And to change this mind set I will continue to cast my Vote towards canidates that convince me they will represent the people and not Special Interest, Lobbist,
Corporation or there Pocket.
Mister FBI agent if you come to my home then expect to be invited to a good supper and a warm bed if you want to spend the night. But be fore warned HERBERT don't like strangers...Lol...A.H

As far as I know, nobody has posted the entire Delcaration of Independence on gunandgame.com yet. So...here's a link to the exact wordage which has been examined, discussed, cussed, praised, modified, and many more adjectives here on g&g describing individual's feelings on this subject.

It would seem an appropriate thing to read the Constitution carefully and try to understand it's contents before making serious comments about it's contents or to criticze it's casually.

Also, here's your chance to read the U.S.A. constituion in it's entirity. Takes time...but it's worth your effort.
