My new toy! a left handed Stag

My newest toy....I love this little baby...plus it is left handed so no more hot shells down my shirt...and accurate? it is amazing!...tight little ragged hole right out of the box!
Whooo....Hooooo.

I also slapped a little help site togather at: ar15fun.com <click here> so if you are new to the AR15, you can learn how to field strip and clean it!..tip...spray a little breakfree
clp on the bolt...and it will hum like a precision machine!
I did have a slight gas problem at first, but Stag immediuately replaced the upper when I called, and have not had a problem since.

Now to add some toys!

I saw on that news report that was posted here, remember ? The woman that goes out and shoots after work to relieve stress. The news people went to The Stag plant where your AR-15 was made and a feller there said they were selling them as fast as they can make them.
So did you have to wait long to get yours ??? Congrats...A.H

Not familiar with Stag but that looks just like mine. And Ivan I built my carbine from the ground up.
You know what you need is a 11" barrel with a 5" flash suppresor. Of course it needs to be soldered in place to keep it BATF correct.

I know you did not get this far but position the piston rings correctly on the bolt after cleaning. Man that was a great help sequence on break down, Even for this seasoned AR owner.

There are about 7 stores within about 12 miles of me which sell Bushmaster and other brands of AR-15. I got my Varminter for $949. Most all of the .223 Bushmasters they sell in the shops around here are between $900 and $1100. Probably a bit better competition between dealers here though. If you have to cross state line, I suppose another $100+/- isn't too bad.

Check GunsAmerica - Connecting Gun Buyers to Gun Sellers Since 1997 and see if you can find any good deals there:

https://www.gunsamerica.com/Search/C...ter-Rifles.htm

I see a new "Patrolman" for $725. Just be sure you check out the company you are buying from before sending them money. Check BBB. Some dealers won't be there. The one I bought my FEG wasn't, but they were good. I always make sure I can find them on Yellow Pages, White Pages, Maps, and more - Switchboard.com or Yellow Pages Local Directory - YELLOWPAGES.COM or something, just to make sure they are legitemate. Do a search for their company name on Google, see if you get any hits, good or bad...

Hope that helps.
