Looking for a .22 with mag options.

I am looking for a .22 that I can get extended mags for. Trying to find something cheaper than a Ruger 10/22. Thanks.

a remington 597 is one of the best ways to go. i got a new one right out of the box about one

month ago and have put about 3 1/2 boxs of 550 remington gold bullet 36gr hp thourgh it. i

dont have any of the loading problems they talk about but it think because it the new one with

the 3rd genertion mag. i picked it up at walmart for 159. and next best i would say is the marlin 60

i think thats the clip fed one or mabe the 70. but clips are less expensive on the 597 than the 60

. about 12 dollars at wallmart and 9.50 at sprotsmans warhouse and 17-19 for the 60 but the 597

is the only other one besides the 1022 you can get extended mags for heres a place to buy them

Remington 597 30rd. Mag :: Rifle Mags :: Clips & Mags.
happy hunting
