My prayers go out to you Bob, I hope all goes well and this takes care of it, this type of cancer is as distressing for a man as any of the ones for the ladies. God Bless you Bob I'll be thinking of you.

Shucks, Bob. After they get done lightening the load, you can go get you a bicycle and ride wind sprints with Lance Armstrong.

Remember? His metastasized to his brain and lungs in 1996, and he had surgery and chemotherapy both. Then he went out and won the Tour de France for seven years straight, starting in 1999.

You're a long way from down for the count, old son. Go to:

Lance Armstrong Foundation: Home

At the top of the page right above where it says Welcome To The Lance Armstrong Foundation, click on Cancer Support.

And if you haven't already been there, also go to:

Testicular Cancer - PLWC

I can pray for you too, but it's a mite risky; I'm not sure whether putting in my two bits on your side would help or hurt...

Red face

Thanks to all of you for lifting my spirit. I've never gone under the knife before. The doctor said I'll be Ok and that I still have one working if I ever decide to procreate somemore. I just laughed. Thanks again.

Yeah Bob, we don't need anymore little Bobbies running around. You are enough.

Hmmm . . . the projected track for Dean shows him visiting the coast of Mexico and Texas. Y'all batten down and take care! He's moving fast.

Hey Tommy I am glad I was off work -- from noon until
7p.m. I couldn't get out of my driveway. Went to the job at 5:15 this morning and everything was dried out. 70% today--did not see a drop. You and I are not new to the gulf problems. T.S. Allison was a real problem and the last Hurricane to blow over the Houston--Pasadena area was Alicia and even that wasn't that bad. Dean needs to visit Mexico.
Viva La Mexico.

You all in Texas need to keep an eye out for this next one, too. I looked up the water temperature in the Gulf. Mid to upper 80's at the surface. That's like pouring gasoline on a fire. Don't worry guys, Brother Bob will come down and help if you get hit. While you might think I hate Texas, your wrong. It's just the opposite. I love Texas. Got kin folk down there. I always had a good time when I went down there. The folks are just as friendly as Okies. Great food, great entertainment, and good looking cowgirls in "tight fittin jeans"! Yehaa!

Bob I surely do appreciate your concern, it is well founded! Looks like Dean is gonna strike near Brownsville and based on the patterns in place right now we are expecting a real gully washer of a mess! Told the Missus today I though twe ought to top off all the vehicles with fuel and bottle up some water just it cause it gets too wild in our area. We're high enough above the river here at home I doubt we're in any real danger from flooding I am more concerned with blocked roads debris and power outages... Good thing our freezers stocked up LOL... Thanks again

Don't forget big hurricanes with tight little eyes.
As earl said south Tx. I hope. Better still in the non -populated area of the Mexican mountains.

Wink

I know if it hits Texas, that the folks there will roll up their collective sleeves and get busy "fixin" what's broke. They won't point fingers and raise Hell and go nuts like some others have. I know that there is a well thought out plan and Texans won't get caught with their pants down. Proud to know ya!

Question

Maybe some of those border tunnels will get flooded or collapse.
