Differance in wolf ammo.

Guess it's been longer than I thought since I bought wolf ammo. Box looks the same, but the bullets are different can any one tell me if there are any other difference. The ones on the right are new the others I've had awhile.P1010007.JPGs.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes there both the same height, and the slugs are the same. Even the boxes there packed in are the same, the only difference is the appearance of the bullets them selves. I've heard of the polymer coated case, but these are the first ones I've ever seen.

Actually the ones on the left are the new polymer coated rounds. The ones on the right are the old lacquered coated rounds (Green color).

I agree with Lefty the polymer is better.

+1, but they may not actually be "better".

There is a good look at these on the Box o' Truth: The Box O' Truth - Educational Zone #18 - Shooting Wolf steel-cased Ammo in an AR15
