M14se Crazy Horse® Lite

I recently commissioned Ron Smith @ SEI to build a LITE version of his world famous
M14SE Crazy Horse SDM on a pair of Poly Tech receivers I had sitting in the safe.

I am very, very happy with the results

Thanks!
Yes, I had SEI perform their Sniper/Designated Marksman 4.5 lb Trigger Conversion on my ChiCom trigger groups.
They are equal to the two USGI TRW groups I have with the same conversion. Money well spent.

Remove the action from the stock and re install it making sure everything
is lined up and that the heel of the receiver is flush with the stock.
Make sure the trigger is not set and and no pins have shifted out of position.
Now carefully line it up and slide into place while holding the trigger guard up.
Lock the trigger guard down and check function.

That's how I do it ~ HTH.

Not true. I've watched this thread from initial posting... just didn't have anything to contribute, so didn't post.

There are many variables to consider before you can nail down a price.
What parts are you going to supply? What parts and services is SEI going to supply?
What configuration do you want to end up with? What about optics?
Feel free to send me a private message if you want to go over some details.

I suggest you wait on the new stock from TROY if you want a Bull pup stock for the M14.
It should be available about the same time SHOT '08 opens.
