See how many of these apply to you.
They are a collection from many different "Gun-Nutts". All are real life situations. Please feel free to add yours, since it is a work in progress.
You might be a gun nut if;
1. You follow ammo prices like other people follow stock prices.
2. You would prefer to go to the firing range, rather than a strip club.
3. Your latest rifle purchase is worth more than your 12 year old pick-up and your wife's 8 year old minivan combined.
4. Your 12 year old daughter would rather shoot your M1A, than have her tongue pierced.
5. Your 8 year old son wants to give his 22 LR rifle to his 5 year old brother because he's mastered it. Besides he says "22's are for girls!" I want an AR-15!
6. You would rather watch the Guns and Ammo TV marathon (even though you've seen them all, twice!), than watch the Super Bowl.
7. The "porn" you look at on the internet, is "gun porn."
8. If you buy mags or ammo for guns you dont have yet.
9. You might be a gun nut if you call shotgun, and actually ride with a shotgun.
10. You might be a gun nut if you can recite a form 4473 from memory.
11. You might be a gun nut if you clean your sons toy guns.
12. You buy your gun safe with your wifes permission and let her pick the color so it color coordinates with the living room.
13. If people call you at all hours of the day and night looking for gun advise.
14. You refuse to move ever again because of all the ammo you had to move the LAST time...and your friends STILL complain about their sore backs.
15. You might be a gun nut if you read loading manuals at bedtime, to relax and drop off to sleep.
16. If your girlfriend can field strip a 1911 faster than you can!
17. If you go to her place for the first time, and she has the "Brownells'" catalog on the nightstand!
18. If she has guns that you "wouldn't mind having" yourself!
19. If you have a friend that shows up at your house with a 50 year old pistol that only had a production run of 1,000 and you have a holster for it.
20. If you spend 2 weeks walking to work because you bought ammo instead of gas.
21. Your kitchen table is cleaner when youv'e got your guns on it than it is when you use it for meals.
22. If your wife has to tell you to "get the guns off the ****ing bed or you'll be sleeping on the couch again"
23. You have a brochure offering a tour of the worlds ammunition facilities.
Guilty as charged on the following counts: 1 (when you're buying .308....), 2 (I'm 25 and never been to a strip club... no want to do so), 6 (if I watch the Bowl, it's for the commercials), 7, 13 (technically it's over IM, but it's still 3am), 15 (and I don't even reload), 21 (not kitchen table, but the one I eat off of).
I'd probably be guilty of more if I were married and had kids/a kid.
Edit: another one I'm guilty of: 24. You've thought that Hoppe's No. 9 made a great "manly" cologne.

You might be a Gun Nut when you look around to see if anyone is looking LMAO and you make weird sounds while gropping a new gun...ROFL.................I don't do that !
32. You know what brass can be reformed to other calibers, but you don't actually own any of them.
33.You buy a thousand rounds of brass off of the internet, in a caliber you don't own, so you can resize them to fit a gun you might buy, someday, maybe.
34. You spend more money on reloading equipment for your new gun than you spent on the gun itself.
# 35 You are a gun nut if you memorize the serial numbers of all the Guns you own !
Nope, just my GLOCK. Don't have my Mosin or my CETME memorized in the least and I've had them longer. Though, I see my GLOCK a lot more, since I carry it concealed (with license, of course) and openly (no license necessary in WA State).

36. You Actively participate in a pro-gun advocates group/program. (Paying your NRA/GOA dues does not count)
Guilty on that one, too... I actively help out in recognition throughout our state of the legality of Open Carry. Local PD's are still citing people for OC'ing under municipal codes, even though the State RCW (Revised Code of Washington) states that any laws regarding firearms that are more restrictive or have harsher penalties are "preempted and repealed" as per RCW 9.41.290: State preemption.

39. You buy two C&R guns with the money you've been saving for a modern firearm because they're on sale and very collectable... as an investment to help buy the modern firearm later.
Guilty as charged... as of today. Check the Mosin Nagant forum.
