Kahr CW40

I am looking at picking up a handgun to carry with my permit to carry permit. I was looking at a Kahr CW4043. One thing that I noticed is that the slide release was difficult to push. Does this get easier to do as the gun is used? Does anybody have any other feedback in regards to this gun? Or, maybe recommend another gun in the same price and size range?

DrewNmn: Sir; My friend has one and initially
VERY STIFF; Mag springs suffer the same stiffness
Load the magazine and put it away for a few weeks to soften springs. Use the Slide release and over a few settings it will soften up.
Would I have one?
Personally I own; several different carry models.[no Kahr's]
I like the Kahr's feel, point-ability, stiffness [frame], conceal-ability,and looks.
Have a friend with one gives/gave me the opportunity without renting or purchasing.

Good luck; Craig
