I try to have one gun for each purpose that I have. For example, I just got the S&W Model 10 with the 4" barrel. That fills my service handgun niche. I have a .22 handgun, a pocket pistol, and an NAA Mini-Revolver. That leaves me short a compact pistol/revolver and a centerfire rifle. I am a real deal shopper, so it will take me awhile to fill those two.

I try to shoot the .22 handgun most of the time, as this just got to be too expensive firing centerfires. And the .22 is as much fun. I don't need recoil to have a good time.

Within reason:
First a bolt 223 for targets/plinking. probably a rem700 or maybe the xr100.
nice 22 like a cooper classic
mosin 91/30 whenever I see one in a store around here that isn't $150+
Garand and/or m1a
a pistol permit and a 357 revolver maybe a SW686
then a 357 lever rifle after I get the pistol.

About $4500 plus scopes and ammo. If I didn't have to buy a new car this year I could afford all that in a year. Now it might take me two or three.

I would like to buy a bolt action gun in 270 but instead i'm probably gonna get a NEF handi rifle in 270. I also want either a 223 or 243. Probably a 223 after the 270.

Next up is hopefully the AES-10 modded out to be like a Tabuk Sniper.

Then it's all open to what comes along, but here's a general list:

Benelli M3 Super 90 (semi-auto/pump)
S&W 629 Classic Revolver with 6.5" compensated barrel in .44Mag.
Druganov SVD or ROMAK-3/PSL.
Colt 1911 variant.
AR15 with .50Beowolf upper and LWRC .223 upper (I'd get an LWRC .308, but they don't make that caliber yet).

I love .22 rifles and pistols.

Could probably put a list together of about 50 I've admired for some time plus I would like to try some stainless steel rifles.

Geez there are a few more I would like to have but not in this order...

SKS

Mosin Naggant

Another 22 semi-auto

This is really what I want first right now a CZ 75 Compact 40 S&W I will be checking to see what one will cost from a friend today.

I like Marlin leveractions and the model 1894's in 38/357...44mag/44 or the 41mag would be nice to own one of them.

At least once a month or less I go to the Gun Auction sites and look for Marlin 35 Remington cal. rifles.
I really want one of them.
And thats all !!!! lol...A.H

Hey AH, if you're willing to drive to:

Big 5 Sporting Goods
3808 Kemp Blvd., Wichita Falls, TX
Tel: 940-691-3628

They have Mosin Nagant M91/30's on for $74+tax. There are other Big 5's in TX if you want to peruse their selection, just check their website. It was my very first firearm and I have yet to regret it. I picked up an ex-sniper for $79+tax when they were on sale and it's worth twice that.

Wait... you want a 91/30... you live in a state with Big 5!!! Go get one now for $74+tax! Rummage through all the ones each store has and have them "hold" the best one for you for 24 hours and decide which one is the best and pick it up. That way, you can always come back and know someone else hasn't picked it up before you could come back for it.

We covered this. Thanks again though. I have other monetary concerns atm, but I'll probably pick one up next month.
