I have an H & K 630, 222Rem, and a AK4 (G3) ... okay, the last-mentioned belong technically to the state, then it is my service weapon ... but still ..

Looking right now for an H & K 270, 22LR.

Smile Here one for the P30 V3

Don't see any mentions of the P30 [9mmX19] but here's my 2 cents. I've taught CCW in Louisiana since '96 and fired a few different makes and models over the years - but never an H&K. Needed a replacement for my carry and in Sept. '09 Louisiana had a special TAX FREE weekend for anyone who wanted to buy ammo or a weapon[s] - no quanity limit!!. [Now THAT is 2nd amendment friendly!] My dealer had the P30 in stock, I picked it up, fell for it and it is now my daily concealed carry. What do I like about it? Well, it handles and shoots better than anything else I've shot. AND it carries 15 in the mag and one in the pipe AND it has mag releases and slide releases on both sides making it ambidextrous - a great plus if you have to shoot with your weak hand. AND the recoil is very comfortable making for great follow through control. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Every penny.

I have an H&K USP .45 Compact Tactical with Trijicon night sights and I never go anywhere with out it. I have fired well over 5000 round through it in the three years I have owned it. With those rounds the only problem I have had is stove piping due to poor performing powder on hand loads.

Haven't logged in here for several years, since back when I bought a Beretta CX4 Carbine. Being primarily a Beretta guy before I was always pretty happy with the 9mm round, cheap and relatively easy to find(My PX4 pistol is great fun and a pretty accurate gun itself). After shooting a couple of .45's my bro-in-law owns, I started looking at a bigger cartridge. I saw a gun auction scheduled for this past weekend, checked out the listing, and they had a HK USP .45 listed. I went not expecting much(and expecting to leave empty handed) and came out with a new (to me) gun. After buying my Berettas, I started doing better research on things and came to the realization that other brands seem to have a generally better reputation for quality, HK being one of the best. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet and at $35 for 100 of the cheap stuff, I'm not sure I'll be getting very comfortable with it very soon. Thinking this might be a good time in my life to learn about re-loading.
