Romak or Saiga?

I am trying to decide which to get. I looked at some Romanian AK's at the local place that already have the G2 Trigger group in them for 450. Or I can get the Saiga in .223 for 270 out the door. Before you answer that question I will fill ya'll in on why I am gettin another one to start with. I want something that will
1. Take a scope and hold it well.
2. Take a Hi-Cap Mag
3. Decent 100 Yard Groups.
4. Look cool and be able to take lots of mods

I am just not impressed with my SKS. It's nice but I have not found a viable solution to the scope issue. It also won't function well with hi-cap mags.

Also how difficult is the Saiga Conversion so that it would take a pistol grip and AK mags? Is it worth it or should I just get the Romak?

If you're planning on modifying get the Romak because of the amount of work involved to mod the saiga. I own the saiga and have found it to be really accurate and dependable, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have fired a Romak once and it was pretty cool and I liked the pistol grip. Now that FBMG has the 308 20 rounders in stock (yes it is true!!!) the 308 is a great option if you don't mind the time it takes for modifying not to mention the expense. I have the thumbhole fiber stock on mine with side mount scope and it looks freaking bitchen!!! I recently saw an attachment that fits on the front with a picatinny rail that will hold a folding pistol grip with picatinny clamp. I will definitely be purchasing this very soon!!!! Can you tell I am biased towards Saiga? I say buy what makes you happy though and I hope my ramblings helped you towards a decision.

Buy the Romak...
Saiga Conversions are a pain and the special mags to work in them are expensive.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion. I would like to here some stuff about the accuracy between the 2. I want something that will really do well to atleast 100 yards and possibly as much a 200 yards. I have been favoring the .223 cal. for that. I need to check out some more ballistic data but if I am not mistaken the .223 would have better long range accuracy. Correct me if I am wrong.
