Toys, any collections here?..(real toys)

I collect toys..

Partially because of a semi-toyless childhood..(don't ask)

So I of course love toys now. My son enjoys all of my toys..except the mint Star Wars figs..(no touchee)
I have a collection of 3 Greywheel Matchbox cars, Tootsietoy Trucks, windup toys, and of course Star Wars..
Here are some pics of the Star Wars Figurine collection...I will have to unbox all the vehicles and ships etc to take pics..

This is my Original Jabba The Hutt Action Play Center, the dancers are new but Saliscious Crumbb and Jabba and his Bong are all the real deal.

These are my originals, they're worth a little but I would never sell them.

Weapons of the Empire and Rebels and few Mac10's thrown in for color..

Thumbs up

I began a few years back collecting the cast metal cars - Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, etc. I favor the 50's to 70's muscle cars, but have many others too.

Used to build 1/24 scale plastic kit cars, but don't really have the time any more - gotta wait til I retire . . .

The little guys take up far less space and tollerate moves better too!

I have a large collection of G scale trains, hope to have my outdoor layout done next summer. I'm doing a early 1900's logging railroad.

We used to have a really good hobby shop here, that had the ultimate Model Railroad layout! It was a full WWII German railyard, in 1/35 scale. An excellent train that trundled around the entire shop, carrying many tank models. Lots of fully equipped troops, trucks, armor - the whole nine yards! I could watch that setup for hours!

It was a superb advertising gimmick too - every kid coming in was immediately interested in both trains and armor!

I have about that many late nineties star wars figures, and a lot more ships. Haven't looked at most of 'em in years though.
I like putting my robotech ships and gundams around on my shelves though.

I have scratch built a few rr cars, a snow plow and a caboose. Mostly I add detail parts and weather them, add decals of my rr name, that sort of thing. Apparently I didn't have enough toys as a child.
This started as a kit, then detail was added.

Nice trains.. I have several G scale trains but my favorites are American Flyers. I have approx 25 engines, and about 200 pieces of rolling stock. I also have alot of MTH, K-line, and Lionel in o guage. Our present layout is only 12' by approx 10' but we have fun with it. I also collect Plasticville structures. My nicest loco is a Big Boy in O scale, with all the bells, sounds, and whistles.

I recently found out that my crate of Marx Toys plastic army men from when I was a kid are actually quite valuable nowadays.

Now The Ultimate Forum

Wow!
Now there is REALLY no need to spend time at any other Forum, with my other favorite subjects now coming up. Due to also a deprived childhood(I think), I have over reacted and acquired a sizeable American Flyer Train Collection. I have also built a 12ft long iron ore dock in HO scale with some nice brass GN o8o switchers.

I still have the first catalog given to me by a neighbor in 1951 .(before I was born of course- Ha!) It's a 1950 catalog.
Model live Steam Engines are another favorite. Several of my Patent Models over 100 years old are way cool as they chug, running miniature machinery and generators, for my kids of course.

Not really toys, but I collect poker chips, tokens and silver strikes from casinos. I have several jetons (Euro poker chips) from foreign casinos.

Some custom chip sets I've had made for myself...

ASM clay cash game set:

BCC clay cash game set:

Face shot of the BCC set:

A couple of "non-custom" sets...

Chipco Vineyard Casino ceramics:

Desert Palms:

Nevada Jack Skulls:

I've got a few more sets, but never taken any pictures. All my casino tokens and silver strike pictures are on my defunct Olympus.
