I have finally had enough of work!

I threw a vacation day slip in the boss's mail box and me and my buddy (former Army, now postal worker) are going to the range tomorrow. I will try to remember the camera from the truck and take some pics.

I had to put in for vacation almost a month ago. I'm going camping....hopefully both of us will have a nice break from work.

Work? What's work? After eight years of retirement I'm finally going back to work tomorrow doing vountary work on a Habitat For Humanity house, probably helping to complete the sheet rocking started last week by other volunteers. I've been off this duty since last November for health reasons...but am glad to be able to get started again.

But...deer season is coming up Nov. 10-21 for the firearms section in Missouri, so that time is already reserved for some fun.

Jerry...hope you enjoy your day of vacation.

Had a decent shoot today. My buddy had to go a bit early so we only spent a few hours. He shot his MAK 90, We shot my Stevens 200 223, The Kimber .45, Yugo SKS, and one I haven't had out for a while, Remington 514 .22 LR. Really should shoot it more often, foregot how much fun it is.
