I remember sitting in the household library with my feet on the edge of the bathtub thumbing through my G'pa's American Rifleman (actually I don't think that was what the NRA magazine was called back then) and staring at the neatest looking little WWII gun. At that time it had a full page ad on the inside back fly leaf discribing the weapon and it only cost $25 from the DCM. That's when I fell in love with it; I was about 12. I still luv'em.
