M77 mkII at the range

I finally got went and sighted in my mark M77 MkII at the range. This thing is a tack driver. I was impressed with the accuracy. Granted this is my first centerfire rifle, but I was shocked. I was shooting bullets through the same holes. The rifle is more accurate than I am by fire. Just thought I'd share.

Thumbs up

Mine was the 7mm Rem Mag.. Awesome gun, a friend have one and recommend the Hornady 139gr and at 100 yard it is at 1- 1 1/2" grouping. Once the scope it sighted in I kept it there and don't want to mess with it. A couple of years ago, I shot a nice mule deer at 180 yard the bullet go exactly where I placed it.

You made a good choice..

I own two Ruger MKII rifles, one in 7mm Rem Mag, and the other in .17HMR. They are both extremely accurate. One heck of a gun for the $$$.

Ruger 77's are very nice rifles, hard to beat them, most people will save a little money by buying the remington, but if you have more money sto spend the Rugers are very nice, never shot a bad one
