You can't scare me with quotes out of context, A.H. I've had eight years of George "Dubya" Bush, and it doesn't get much scarier than that.

I would rather have 8 more years of G.W. Bush than 4 years under Hillary.

AH, as I was reading the questions I thought to myself "Sounds like what Hillary is saying."

I was glad to see my thoughts were correct.

It's not that I'm a die-hard Republican, just an Anti-Democrat.

She was quoted saying the other day (I'll try to get it right)
If Elected President The Tax Payers Couldn't Afford All I What To Do.
Something like that...A.H

Was she not quoted as saying "When we were President before...." Personnally I don't like some of the direction the republican party has taken... But I still can't be a democrat and this is one scary woman (I think). Maybe we should get Crocodile Dundee to check her out!!!!

I don't understand what's so scary about some of those supposed quotes to begin with.

Is not wanting "government by the few, for the few" a bad thing? sounds like being for democracy to me...

"Business as usual" under Bush has meant business raping the public, including its own stockholders. Is that a good thing?

"Building a consensus" is a fancy term for people on opposite sides coming to an agreement both sides can live with. In other words, compromising for the common good. That's one of the foundations of democracy.

The so-called "free market" has never been totally free. We found out a long time ago that totally unrestricted, unregulated business leads to monopolies wiping out the competition, then screwing the public which no longer has a choice.

What's wrong with keeping an eye on the most profitable sector of the economy? Isn't that logically the place where the most hanky-panky might be going on, financially speaking?

Even if the quotes are accurate, I don't see anything in them which proves Clinton is either a Fascist or a Communist. And the people who call her those two names need to make up their minds anyway. She may be one or the other, but she can't be both.

She isn't George "Dubya" Bush. And she's never said, "stop throwing the constitution in my face. It's nothing but a G'D'd piece of paper."

She isn't high on my list either. But that's two good things about her right there...

I have my doubts.

With Kerry I doubt we'd have gotten the Iraq debacle, cronies instead of professionals in critical jobs like the head of FEMA, wholesale privatization of government functions from the IRS to the military, an exponential increase in governmental secrecy (for our own good, of course), insane deficit government spending, official policies of torturing and mistreating prisoners in the name of freedom and justice, federal one-size-fits-all education policies over-riding local school boards, major assaults on the concept of checks and balances among the three branches of government, a toady congress that thought its main job was to carry out the wishes of the president and his executive branch, instead of providing oversight and keeping him in line, and the sheer pain of enduring eight years of listening to an illiterate who thinks the word "nuclear" is pronounced, "nook-yew-ler."
