Lee 4 hole turret press.

I am going to be buying a Lee four hole turret press in the near futre. I currently Reload for 30-30 Win,30-06 Sprg,7mm-08 Rem, and 45 ACP/AR.
i am going to be putting the Lee Safty Prime and Lee pro auto disk powder messure ( with rifle charging die) my only question is will be okay with the basic press or should i spend the extra cash and get the classic press with the "Auto Index"

I have the Classic and I highly recommend it. It is very sturdy, and of course you don't have to use the auto index feature. I have had no problems.

I removed the auto index feature from my Lee press years ago. I never really liked the auto index. I prefer to rotate the turret by hand.

Shrub, it's no harder than a regular press, I use the Hornady rings so I can lock in the settings I want, that way, if you're using the same load on a regular basis, you can just screw the dies in until they stop and you're good to go.
