That bolt tool is worth the cost. My carbines functioned very well and actually I took the bolt apart to see how the bolt tool worked...glad I did. What I found in the springs was a recipe for failure; really gunked up.
When you get the tool and use it, be very careful and make sure the extractor plunger tab is seated properly before you start to tighten the thumbscrew or you could break the tab. There are two tabs on the tool, one is solid the other is split. AND for God's sake keep a good hold whenyou back off the thumb screw after removing the extractor...that spring will thow the itty-bitty plunger a long distance and it will be hell finding it...trust me on this point...lol

Hey Drifter, you never can tell. 4-5 inches at 200 is a definate could be, if you can see that far...lol
Heck at our age (I'm 62) 300 is pushing it. I'm interested in hearing how she shoots.
May I suggest you read the articles for the carbine that are on the CMP site, they give some good tips for accuracy. Good reading for all of us; novice or not.
