Jerry what ever your takeing see if Wal Mart has it in genaric because every month or so Wal Mart is reduceing genaric drugs to just $ 4.00 for a 30 to 31 day supply. I take 4 genaric pills that make the 1 I "use" to take for my blood pressure. That 1 pill of 30 was $104.00 month !!! Though WalMart has 2 of the 4 pills I take on there $4.00 list. I'm still buying from the Phamecy I've been buying from...which is $42.00 a month. I'm glad you posted this, i'm going to call WalMart and see if they've added the other 2 pills to the $4.00 list that will only cost me $16.00 a month for all my pills...A.H EDIT: If your taking a genaric and WalMart doesn't sell it for $4.00 right now they probably will be later, so keep checking back Last edited by ArkansasHunter; 10-29-2007 at 02:01 PM. |

My wife has a muscle disease and is on many diff meds. We live in Minnesota. She flew down to Florida a few years ago and forgot all of her meds. She had to get them filled down there and I was shocked to find they were $100.00 less down there. Guess what I'm saying is even State to State it varies. I suppose with all the senior citizens down there they get better rates?

Thanks A.H. & I feel your pain Killer. I'm researching options for my Son. He has no insurance at the time being & Dad (that would be me) is spending all of the hunting money on prescriptions. I did pull up the WalMart option. They do have alot and is worth looking into. Unfortunately, they don't have my sons medication. There is definitely a shopping game involved. I took him to WalMart to find the scrpit was $130 for a 30 day supply. We contacted a CVS next town over, they had the same thing for $92.00.I find I can get Canadian companies drugs (legal in my state) for $33.00 per month. I don't think it will get much cheaper than that. I was more curious on how any companies were to do business with in anyones experience. I'm very fortunate in my own regards. I use expresss scripts and don't pay anything for medication. It's $7.00 if I go to the pharmacy to get it. Either way, not bad.
