*Help Needed*

Hey Guys,

I'm working on the review setup...and I'm a little concerned with how it's coming out.

The direct link is here

to see how it will be to review a product look here

I need help with suggestions.
Example:
Do you think I should breakup the categories into Long Guns, Handguns or individual gun makers?

I'm also working on a way to find the best deal on the net, which will help you save a few bucks.

Any comments you can make...will help me out.

looked pretty neat to me I think you may well want to refine the catagory selection as to give the user a little esier time when looking for spacifics. If there were a way to go by type, use, and maker maybe I dont know that may be a little hard but it seems a lot of folks dont know too much and look for things like what is the best deer rifle ro varmint gun etc.

That looks pretty good. I would suggest organizing it by long guns and handguns as opposed to maker.

Thanks for the quick remarks guys!

Dave, that's what the forum is for . If they want to discuss "What the perfect varmit gun is" they post here. If someone is looking around for purchasing a firearm, they can search it on the review section. Hopefully someone has review the piece, so they can comment on it.

The review section is to help folks do more research on products, and is nothing more than an extension of this great big forum we have here. Does that make sense?

I like the long gun and handgun breakdown. Is there anyway you can have the firearms in alphabetical order under each major category? That would save search time after the categories start to fill up. It would also be good to put a sticky at the top of the forum that states "Review section is for posting of first hand information only" Don't allow "my cousin's ex-husbands buddy Billy Bob said these Springfield's ain't worth owning!!" I see that too much! Pet peeve!

I really like this idea - I think it is a winner!

It looks pretty good. Perhaps a sort feature according to a-z by maker would be good too. If we get a lot of reviews, it would make things quicker, I think. By no means, is it meant to be a critizism. It looks good the way it is.

Thanks,
Snuffy

I agree with what everybody has said. You can break a category down as far as you like.

Example: Handgun > Brand > Caliber

Sections can also be from highest price to lowest, which ones got the best reviews, etc.

Handgun > Brand > Caliber
that looks like it will be easy to use.

I think breaking it down by handgun or long gun and then manufacturer would be easiest, maybe caliber too if we get a lot of reviews

I really liked it, my only complaints are the ones that have already been stated.
