No4 rear sight removal

I found a nice Type 1 Micrometer and want to replace the flip sight. I know I have to drift out the pin holding the screw, but it is darn near impossible. Won't budge even with some penetrating oil. Any advice on how to get it out and still be able to use it again?

The pin is tapered so it will only come out one way it should be tapped from the bottom.
