Exclamation mueller optics

i have read on other forums that the president and employees of mueller optics have been posing as regular members and praising mueller scopes.
do you think this could be real?
i just ordered one.
i also read that sometimes people will get banned for posting on other websites what i am asking .

Dunno why the rumor would just focus on Mueller. Heck, I have seen lots of employees from several companies, mail order houses, and distributors brag on their product. I would be more inclined to believe the president of Mueller if he was telling everyone to avoid his product.

I don't know if the rumors are true or not, but I have one of their scopes and it is great. By the way - I don't work for Mueller. I am DoD.

I called up Mueller looking for a sun-shield for my Tac-II, and they seemed like very nice, straight forward guys. BTW, you can't put a sun-shield on the Tac-II. The front housing in not threaded for it - guess I should have looked closer before calling. Like I said - they were nice - he didn't call me a dumb arse! He did say that they had several people request the sun-shield and they were looking into it as a potential design change.

Heck Billy, just call them up and ask them about it. Who knows they may give you the real scoop. Then you can come back and tell us all about it! I doubt there is some big conspiracy going on with the other forums.

I think you will be pleased with the scope - don't lose sleep worrying about it!

Edit: Check out these turret covers as well - there is a link off the Mueller sight. Seems like a neat idea. Picture Gallery

Range report...range report, dude!

I hope you enjoy it.

After we spoke last night I looked into Mueller and I might invest in one for the wife's soon-to-be .223 varmint rifle.

Billy, what did you mount that awesome looking scope on. I just read up on that scope and it seems to be very serious about long range accuracy and boasts many other nice to have features.

it's got a 1/8MOA dot on the reticle.
i kinda wish it wasnt there but the only way to get a very fine crosshair reticle is to pay for it.
good target rifle scopes cost some dough!

Billy...from what I read on this scope, you've got a really good target scope; especially for the price range they are sold at.

Most of in this forum have families to support, hobbies to fund, and there's got to be some calculated balance between means and things. We get the best things we can with our means, until we can afford other.

On this Mueller Eraticater scope you got, it has the kind of features and price range that balance out nicely. Wished I would have know about it before my last scope purchase.

it's kinda fun to be able to turn on your scope and have that magical red dot appear.

Let's get some bullets on paper, way out there, and see how it does. I have some Sierra matchkings that would really work well with that combination of rifle/scope you've got...

My wife was looking over my shoulder and asking me what you had, right while I was typing...she thinks it looks pretty cool too. She's an Annie Oakley when it comes to shooting, and the rifle/scope combo caught her eye quickly.
