Did I goof up a setting?

I was wondering the same, I only see posts after someone posts on it, I think maybe Chris changed something.

You only see new posts made by other people. You already know that you just made a new post, so it doesn't need to be visible to you. It's a good thing, cause if you post a lot, you would have to filter through a LOT of posts unnecessarily.

I found the same thing true for me, too. Just takes time getting used to a few site changes.
