More action needed for our disabled vets!!

I heard on the O'Reilly Factor tonight that the government (our government) is asking (demanding) that those people who got a sign-up bonus from the military, but who don't serve their entire term, must pay it back. "Those People" include several soldiers who were wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and who were medically discharged. The case in point was a young man who lost an eye and had other wounds. They want him to pay back $3000 for not serving the final 3 months of service. That's outrageous!! Contact your congressmen and the President. I am.

It cites the case of Jordan Fox, a veteran who was discharged three months early because an IED injured his back and blinded him in one eye. The government says he owes them three thousand dollars of his signing bonus, because he didn't serve that last three months.

The article says, "For what it’s worth, Fox’s congressman, Democrat Jason Altmire, has introduced a bill to prohibit the Bush administration from asking the troops for refunds."

If I were that feller and have to end of paying the money back I would wipe my azz on the check and mail it to them !!!

These are the same bureaucratic jerks who were charging wounded troops for meals, because they were eating at the hospital instead of dining with their units in Iraq.
