classifieds, response notification
Two of my favorite forum attributes don't seem to be here:

Classified ads, and email response notification.

Did I just overlook them?

I think you may have because I got a email responce notifacation when I joined.

Email notifications are turned off by default, you can go into the user control panel if you want to turn them off

Classifieds are not on the site at the moment.
