Put 200 rds 115 gr through my new C9 today:



Target above at 25 feet indoor range...not too shabby for a gun I used to sneer at

Had 2 ftf's...all I had to do was tap the end of the slide....no stovepipes.

I didn't tweak the sights at all....wanna put 500 through her before final tweaks.

I'm not at all surprised at the accuratcy of your pistol haveing myself shot several 45 calibers that were as accurate as yours. Makes you feel good don't it !

NRAJOE I just held a HI Point like yours at a friends pawn and gun store, I was temped to buy it. He wanted $139.00 for it and wouldn't neogociate you mind me asking what you paid for yours ...A.H

And you didn't buy it? AAAAAAHHHHHGGGGG!!! Oh well, can't rant too much. We just passed up one for 125 this past weekend. Are we dumb or what?

Hi Points are clunky, ugly, accurate and from our experience, generally dependable. I think they are the Doberman Pinschers of the gun world. Much maligned much misunderstood just because of the way they look.

I've also found that the more you shoot a Hi Point, the better they get. I was ready to drive a truck over my 9 carbine at first-lots of Failures to Eject, lots of Stove Pipes. Then suddenly they stopped happening and now it is one of my most dependable firearms. I wouldn't want to shoot it at a target over 200 yardsaway and depend on it to hit the mark, but at 100 yards, it's completely accurate.

Hi Points are real turds. I have 3 of them, I know. All work very well and are cheaply made and ugly.

They shoot great.

My nine pistol can shoot very light loads and full power. For some reason it doesnt seem to hurt it. The actions on all of them are as loose as an AK, rounds seem to seat and shoot well.

A.H. - The gun shops around here in Central Ohio have been selling the Hi-Point 9mm new anywhere from $109-$139. I honestly have not seen many for sale used, but the ones I have seen were only $10 less than a new one. Now of course, the Hi-Points are made here in Ohio, so maybe they sell them cheaper here.

ouch the one I held yesterday was tight to me.
Whats interesting to me is when you take down a polimer frame pistol such as the Hi Point and Glock they all look so similar.
I thought it was a mite on the heavy side to my surprise and that was one the reasons I didn't buy it.
I'm looking for another pistol but I don't know yet what I want other than smaller than my CZ 82 and a lot lighter...A.H
