Has anyone tried the Shock Wave muzzle brake yet?

No. Haven't even heard of it. Have a link?

Edit that. You're talking about the hitech, right? I haven't had one, but the design itself doesn't look all that spectacular and most certainly wouldn't warrant spending $125. But who knows. I'm not an expert with Physics, so I suppose it's possible that it would work. I myself have only ever bought a slant muzzle break similar to an AK's but it uses a set screw. Obviously it doesn't stay on for more than 5 shots, but it works very well when it is on. I'm just not prepared to weld it on to make it stay.

There's a shorter version that is much cheaper. I like the way it looks, compared to others, and it has set screws. I will dimple the barrel to receive the screws, and it won't move. Redirection of muzzle blast will definitely control muzzle jump, an they say their design helps to stabilize the bullet as it leaves the barrel. Just sounds good, an wondered if anyone tried it yet.

Be sure to use an abrasive on the set screw and it may very well work. Good luck.
