here is another one doesn't show where the grenade lands but seems to be from a actual conflict.

Curious? What corrosive crap do you speak of? From what I understand to launch the grenade/s is just blank .308 or 7.62X39 cartridges and as for the grenade, nothing from it even enters the barrel.

Clue me in as to what corrosive crap you speak of please? Thanks in advance...

They made an actual grenade blank that is different load than just a .308 or other blank. From the looks of the barrel smoke they used the corrosive powder in them? That was an aweful lot of smoke not to be I thinks.

No you wouldn't want to shoulder fire it,using a true grenade blank would break your shoulder,I have seen wrist broken by not placing the butt stock on the ground. You can buy the practice grenades and non-corrosive blanks from here if you want to play around some these blanks don't kick as much but are still very affective. Bloom Automatic Golf Ball Launchers

The original military ammo used by the Yugo's for the grenades was quite corrosive. Modern blanks may not be, I don't know. To me, firing blanks sorta defeats the point unless you're reenacting something. If I'm going to shoot my rifle, it's so a bullet will come out and hit what I'm aiming at.

I saw a show on the discovery channel and Israel has a grenade that fits onto a m4 and uses a regular round. It catches the bullet and uses that to transfer energy. Its a projectile to blow open doors.
