SWC SWC Reloads Feeding Promperly Through a Semi-Auto Pistol??

I've got a box of SWC bullets to reload for my 40 S&W, and I'm checking to see if anyone has had problems with SWC reloads failing to feed through a semi-auto pistol?

I reloaded TC/FMJ bullets for my 45 and have experienced several FTFs with them.

I have trouble with the majority of any rounds, SWC or round nose, that has a lip around the bullet near the case mouth.

My three .40s seem to have a very steep feed ramp.

For reloads I use only truncated or all round nose without the lip or ridge near the case mouth.
