If I want really good groups I just stroll up to the target. The powder burns are a bit embarasing at times though.

Arkansas: Those who have posted and poo-pooed the Deresonator obviously haven't used it! I bought one about a little over a year ago. I shoot a Sig SHR 970 .30-06, 22" barrel. I've had very little success with factory stuff and finally shot some reloads for an old rifle I no longer own. My Sig printed those 165 Partitions around 1". I installed the Deresonator and the groups tighted up to .45"! Those reloads were on the low end for velocity, but I hunted with them until I moved to Colorado. I just perfected two loads: Hornady SST 165 and Hornady Interbond 180. The former consistently groups at .40" at 100 yards and 1.4" at 300 yards. The latter groups .75" at 100 yds. and 2.5" at 300 yards.
I removed the Deresonator and the groups opened up. At 100 yards, the 165 opened up to .9" and the 180 went to 1.5". At 300 yards, the groups looked like bad factory stuff. The 165 printed 3.1" and the 180 printed 4.6". I put the Deresonator on again and the groups tighed up - back to the original, consistent grouping. Lest anyone think those groups were a fluke, I shot five 5-shot groups at each distance and got the above results each time.
Dr. Sharps has his opinion and he is welcome to it. I know the device makes a difference on my rifle. Is it psychological? NO! My friend shot the last two strings of those five at each distance with my rifle, off of the same bench, under the same conditions and same cooling time. So you tell me, did he have the same psychological bias that I may have had, or did the device work? I don't get laughed at in deer camp when I make long-range one-shot kills and others miss.
The loads, by the way, are: 165: 57.3 grains IMR 4350, Remington brass, Remington 9 1/2 large rifle primers, OAL 3.334", 2900 fps; 180: 57.6 grains RE-19, same components, OAL 3.337", 2670 fps. ZERO pressure signs.

sniper1958 Thanks for the great Information. I really couldn't ask for better groups with my ruger hawkeye, but what the heck I bought the thing and put it on my ruger but I haven't been out to shoot the rifle with the Deresonater on it yet.
I read where it will help the cheaper ammo like Core lokts and the like be more accurate in a not so accurate rifle...well see...A.H

First, AH- You could wear it and see if you go off! If you do, it WOULD be great for Deer Camp! (LOL) Secondly, I have never seen a testimonial with conclusive back up data!

I am not to sold on these things but I did talk with a guy that competes with a custom 22 and he has one and swears by it. This guy has all the gismo's wind flags, custom barrel, special trigger, custom stock, he go's all out. and he said you have to slide it up or dowm till you find the right spot. I think I will leave my 22's alone they shoot good enough(better than I do) Oh by the way I don't see the de-resonator on the pictures above.
