Oddly enough, like Mooseman, I traded off a 45 Colt/45 ACP Ruger Blackhawk. I have regretted it every day since, it was a sweet revolver, but I was too tempted by another gun.

My virginity in high school to a girl that most wouldn't want to admit having been with.

I'm going to break your heart here, Mike. I had a two-door 1972 Nova once, and used it for a work truck.

I was a small contractor and my pickup broke, so I put heavy-duty shocks on the Nova and ran it into the ground, loading the trunk and back seat with tools and tying lumber on top. By the time I got done, the roof was flat as a pancake.

It was a sinful thing to do to a car, but it got me through a rough patch.

LOL Back during President Richard Nixon's day troy we had an Oil Embargo, my Dad whom always drove Ford LTD's came home one day with a Red 1972 Nova 2 door with a white vinyl top. Rally Sport model. LOL
It was his way of saveing energy.
This was back when I had a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang well I begged him to let me go out in it and so I pretty much took it over and he drove the Mustang. LOL
After a year or so my Dad had to have a bigger car so he gave it to my older brother for a work car, I had a new Monte Carlo and didn't need it.
That Nova though I never have got over, I would love to fix one up and go to car shows...and cruse around in it.
Oh the memories.

!969 Nova, 350/350.57k original miles. This is my sixth one, and I will be buried in it!! LOL. It's going to my youngest son someday. We also have a 1985 Monte Carlo SS that we bought as a wedding present to each other. 60k miles on that, no winters. Both are in the garage, tucked away for the winter. These particular models are starting to really increase in value. pick one up if you can find it. In fact, pick up any make, the prices are going sky-ward. They're fun to have and drive, AND, I can fix the dam thing! I missed out on my buddies 1972 Nova SS with a 427 in it. Nasty animal. I didn't have enough cash at the time, and it went for $7500. It's a $20k car now!!

I sold my S&W 5905 (limited edition all steel frame) to pay for our homeymoon (3 days at Niagara Falls and then to Columbus Ohio to see Billy Graham).
I miss it but do not regret it as my wife has paid for 5 pistols and my RCBS reloader since I got back into shooting 2 years ago.

Like Midas, I sold my Ruger .45 Convertible Blackhawk too - BIG mistake! But at the time, out of work and beginning tech school - I needed the money more than the gun . . .

cars are bad

I wish this was a for sale forum so that I could sell my cars.

I buy them high and sell them low.

Right now I have a 1991 GMC syclone, 1984 Pontiac Fiero v8 and a 1990 Beretta GTZ that all need to go. Will trade em for guns!

I have gotten to the point that I hate performance cars.

I miss my '49 Merc, my bicentennial 44mag Blackhawk, and that girl who took off with my innocence. The last is the most important, things ain't been the same since.

A couple months ago I sold my 1985 King Cab Nissan truck. It was a heavt duty model in very good condition.
A guy down the road kept makeing me offers so I sold it to him.
Now every time he drives by the house I wonder if I should of kept it.
It really didn't get go gas mileage and if you were not careful it liked cruiseing at 75 MPH.
That was one tuff truck !...A.H

Things I regret getting rid of:

1. All of my old comic books from when I was a kid, I just gave them away and I know a few of those could buy me a new damn Fulton Armory M14 all by themselves!

2. My beer signs when I moved from the states to England. I gave them to the movers for FREE!!! (I was afraid they would end up broken in the move) Same reason as above.

3. As sad as it sounds, my first car, a 1983 Chevy Celebrity, that thing was a TANK! I hit so much crap with that thing and it kept on running, it would have made a great demo derby car!

4. Ummm.... I guess that is about it...
