Joe is RIGHT

Joe is right !
Anytime, everytime, you hear a person suggest voting indep. or any way other than republcan, that person is a Democrat!
You can bet: either that person is also a fool, or he is trying to get you to waste your vote.

Yeah but you also can't deny how Bush got in over Gore in 2000. Ralph Nader.
So we want some people voting indep. Just very few people here.

Rem, That is only if you think that the votes for Nader hurt Gore. Didn't they really kinda hurt Bush? I did pay as close attention in those days.

No Nader is more of an environmental hence Green party and he is even further left than the Democrats it is ridiculous. So if you can tell me how that hirts Gore I would be happy to know.

I don't think Joe meant anyone who votes independent is a Democrat; I think he meant that splitting the vote this time around will help the Democratic candidate. And he's probably right....

It was a question not a statement. I didn't follow things as close then as I do now. Chill out.

Not really

It may surprise you, but many of us have come to find the Democratic and Republican parties are not representative of our true interests. Many of us are sincere Libertarians and many of us truly believe in/support other political platforms other than Libertarian but not Democrat or Republican.

On saving our gun rights it will be up to us to pick a presidential candidate we think will have a good chance to win then split our votes to support those we feel support our political viewpoints. Thus, we are forced to only vote for one Democrat or Republican presidential candidate/vice president candidate.

It is not throwing away your vote to vote your sincerely beliefs in other candidacies.

Thumbs up

Vote for Ron Paul - he's an Independent/Libertarian with a GOP club card. Best of both worlds.
He's hard-core pro-gun, anti-illegal alien, anti-Big Gubmint.
The media won't let him debate Shrillery - he'd eat her for lunch . . .
