Very funny advertisment! I tasted a few VB's when I was in Victoria. It's similar to Guiness and XXXX. And...it's definitely not like Coors.

Smile needed a laugh

Thanks for the smile, I needed to get a new lease on laughing, and decided to take a look. I never got to Australia, but met some of your fellers in Singapore and Scotland. Good folks. Have a very Merry Christmas. Oh yeah, My son has rubbed it in for years that he's been somewhere I haven't been. Oh well, some day....................seabeescotty

I haven't had VB since the last time I was in Oz, but tastewise, it's basically a pale ale.. Heavy on the hops, bringing on the bitterness but also making it more refreshing..

It's beers like this that have stopped me from drinking typical American beer.. AKA- it has actual taste..

I learned not to ask for a light beer in Ireland. You'll get Coors if you do.

Carlton draught puts VB to shame.Less preservatives tastes better. In my opinion its better than the flagship beer carton crown.

We can too spell beer!!! xxxx was used so our souther cousins could understand,VB actually stands for Vile Bilgewater. Its mostly used for washing socks n underwear and for keeping the mexicans(southerners) from drinking our good beer XXXX.

I agree with the VB view you have, but xxxx is in the same catergory as the others that make bumwash like west end export, fosters larger, tooheys just to name a few.
