Rem 870 screw size question

Hi,

Could someone please tell me the screwtype and size that is used in a Rem. 870 for the two screws that hold in my R3 recoil pad and screw on the stock itself, on my Tac 3 (rear pistol grip and shoulder stock combo) gun? Is it a normal phillips head or a ball head screw? I cant really see way into the hole even with a flashlight lol.

Silly question I know, but the factory manual that came with the gun is for a default 870 not the tac 3 package I bought and I wasn't sure if it was the same screw size or not. Im going to replace the default one with my new knoxx industries one tommarrow but i need to go buy a screw driver to get the current stock off lol.

Thanks

My 870 Express had Phillips Head screws, But they were "Gun" screws that required a Gunsmiths Bit to fit properly...a # 1 Phillips may work in a pinch...
