This is my favorite, at the moment:

"I'm amazed at the utter quavering fear displayed by people who think they're gonna need a handgun to protect themselves from bogeymen out to get them.

"How impotent these people must feel.

"Or maybe they've seen too many Clint Eastwood movies and think they'll rise up and save the world while munching a hot dog.

"I've live half a century -- in big cities and small towns -- and have never ever faced a situation that would have been made better by the addition of a gun. Where to these concealed-carry pantywastes go that makes them so terrified they feel they need to pack heat?"

So now the "pantywaists" are the people who are armed , ready and willing to fight back, instead of the ones who are defenseless and have to roll over belly-up, and hope the criminals are nice and don't hurt/kill them after they take their money/jewelry/car/virginity?

I sure wish I lived in his world, where being armed with nothing but dumb luck makes you invincible...

When I got my permit I thought of it as cheap insurance.

Our Super Wal Mart for the past few years has been the target of criminals.
From purse snatchings to armed robberies these crimes are happening and not just at Wal Mart.
Were have criminals walk up to peoples homes and knock or ring the door bell and rush right in and steal.
It's pretty bad.
I take comfort in knowing I carry a hang gun...I want be easy pry...A.H

Notice those against CCW could not state their view without belittling gun owners in general. Those terrible words like pantywaist (which he misspelled) and using redneck like it is terrible to be one, made really riveting arguments. I really liked the enlightening phrase " the ONLY reason people buy guns is to KILL " . You made a nice reply. Mine has been submitted. Thanks for the heads up on the article....
