Complete Pistol Refinish 101.

Hey Friends,
I thought you all would want to see one of my Jobs from Start to finish...I got this rusted, beat up old High Standard Sport King SK-100 some time back in a trade. The owner did not want to Invest in it , and bought another .22 pistol from me.
Well, I got the bug to Re-Juvenate this as a Shooter, not a Collector piece due to the Damage and Value. Here is what it looked like Before I started...Complete Pistol Refinish 101.-mvc-002s.jpg

Test fired 3 rounds...functions flawlessly with Cheap CCI Blazer ammo...
I'm happy as a Clam !

This whole process took about a month total working a little on it here and there...8 -10 actual hours...

Mooseman That was very nice. I found pleasure in seeing those pictures and the pistol restored to a working pistol again.

GREAT JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question how durable is the ceramic finish ? Do you ever do any blueing such as rust blueing ?
