Used to. But moved to Paradise. Still have 4 seasons, but the climate is more tempered than the harsh winds of the plains.

Close, I live in Iowa! West Central Iowa. So close we have radical Husker fans....a couple are even family memebers.....not a fact that I am proud of!

I heard the wind never stops blowing up there, and nothing to break it up. That'd be hard to take, for me anyway. Scotty

Lol yeah my mom/sis are huge husker fans. I have a buncha relatives up in cresco I love fishing on the upper iowa river got a 29" rainbow on the wall and a 26" brown.


Yeah the wind out in the middle/west nebraska isn't fun but I go to the middle for deer hunting and get wind in the face all the time. Glad I don't live out there though.

Reminds me of what my driller told me when I was roughnecking on oil rigs in western Oklahoma in the '80's: "ain't nothin' to block the wind 'tween Canada an' here but bob-wire fences, an' half of 'em's down."

Uh, I lived in OK for seven years and I remember lots of wind.........lots of wind.....wind......wind....wind......but the people were the friendliest of any I've ever met anywhere........all of em like your lifelong neighbor.
