Has anyone used or heard good/bad reports on this?

Haven't used the ammo, but the bullets are first-rate.

Are the accu bonds better than the partitions?I tried some 220gn partitions in my 300wm and it didnt like them.Maybe i didnt much around with the load enough, but they are so expensive it would cost a mint to find a good load.I shot a few pigs with them and they didnt expand much just pencilled through.

I`m a big fan and user of the Ballistic Tip Noslers, they work like gang busters. That doesn`t help you though.

Maybe just bite the bullet ( nyuk... ) and buy some, try them, and tell all

Yes the accubonds expand much more effectively than the partition. For hogs i would use a lesser grained partition but thats just me, i dont have the opportunity to shoot pigs. Have you ever come across the barnes MRX? If you think the partions cost to reload you should see these things. I think they would be excellent rounds but up here they cost about $50 for a box of 20 just for reloading.

I have a couple of boxes of assorted barnes but not the ones you have talked about. The partitions were a bit of an experiment.I have settled on 180gn pills.will give the accu bonds a go.thanks man.

The MRX are quite new they have a tuxten (bad spelling) core and a blue ballistic tip in the frount. Look good but real expensive. I was impressed with the limited results of the accubonds but i think i will pick up a box er two for my 7mm mag.

I openly admit to being a HUGE Nosler Partition fan, so I gave the Accubonds a try. The 225 and 250 grain partitons shoot awesome out of my M700 in .338wm. I loaded the same exact load only using 225grn Accubonds. The load is:

225grn Accubonds
73 grains RL-19 or
76grns RL-22
Winchester brass
Fed 209A

Results were actually slightly better with the Accubonds. I will also be giving the Hornady Interbonds a try because the most accurate load I have ever shot out of ANY production, non-benchrest rifle was with the same above load with RL-22 and 225grn Interlocks. I shot a 100yrd 4-shot group that measured just under 3/8".

Yes i tried them in my .30-06 they are a rediculous amount of money at $63 for 20 over here, I ordered them thinking they would be about the price of Tripple Shock's so i figured since i ordered them i may as well try them. My kimber did not like the 165gr at all the smallest group i could manage was 5 1/2 inches and the 180gr shot 1 inch but at that price it was the last box i bought. I just stick with 180gr Tripple Shock for a lot less.

Same here, those 50gr .224" BT's are a great little pill. I tried 165gr BT's in my .30-06 but it did not like them, best group was 4 inches.
