The scary thing is, that sign was put up because some idiot DID try to do it!

So... let's say you're driving across a longer but similar bridge on a motorcycle at night. On one side, there is a 100 foot drop. On the other, it's still a 100 feet down, but it's rougher with more rocks. You then see two headlights coming at you. Do you A) go down the 100 foot drop and hope it ends quickly, or B) go down the steep, rocky slope hoping your life can be saved?

Or maybe C) You get in the middle and hope those two lights are two motorcycles.

Aw, it's late and I'm tired.

I gotta say, it looks a bit like the part of Okla. where I live, and yes, there's banjo music at times. That bridge don't look bad at all.

As to the question - I'd stop far over to one side, and flash my headlight and sound the horn, and hope the other guy stops too! Or see how fast I can spin it around . . .

That bridge could easily be in Ar., I've driven over some that looked worse than that.
LOL

Yeah, human stupidity usually causes those signs. Like the ones going up to the Outer Banks, NC that say, "Do not feed wolves or bears on side of road." I almost want to know what happened to cause that, but then again I really don't.

Years ago in Yellowstone (I think), there was some numbskull who put honey on his hand so wifey could get a video of a bear licking it off. If I remember right it cost him his hand, and maybe his arm too.

The fact it wasn't wearing a hat and tie should've tipped him off he wasn't dealing with Yogi Bear or Boo-Boo...

Most pointless sign I've ever seen wasn't on a road, it was at a drive-through ATM. It was written in braille...
