Tactical Stock

I have a Savage 110 FP in 308.
The synthedic stock. And it leaves a lot to be desired.
I was wondering if any one has installed an aftermarket Tactical stock to an 110 FP?
What are the features of each brand.
Ok group Evreyone has an opinion now lets hear yours.

nothing tactical about a gunstock, but the best synthetics on the market are made by HS Precision the injection molded plastic stocks savage puts on its rifles are about as cheap as they come.

You should find something that fits your taste on this page: McMillan Tactical Stocks

Ordering from the factory might take a long time, but you can usually find one used on many forums at a reasonable price, as many people upgrade stocks from time to time.

Good luck.

thats the .308 ive been fooling with.

lefty o ,
you are right i hated the stock stock.
i bought a barreled action with a chunk of plastic they put on it so they could call it a rifle.

there is nothing cheesy about this choate.
it just depends on what type of stock you prefer.

for 2 1/2 times what i paid for my choate those mcmillans are nice.

to tell the truth if i had unlimited funds i probably would have gotten one.

Just another comment about how nice Billys' rifle is!
May inspire a copycat here as well.
