Can anyone give me any info about a Beretta 9000?

I saw a used Beretta 9000 today at my local gun shop for around $250. It seems to be in very good condition, and at a good price. Does anyone here own one or can give me any information about one? Thanks

I have a Beretta 9000S and have had it for some time now. I bought it new and have one 12 round and two 10 round magazines and each one has the pinky finger rest. After some break-in time this pistol has never had a FTF/FTE problem. It is easy to shoot all types of 9MM, but use just the cheap FMJ stuff at range. When I conceal carry it is loaded with Federal 9MM +P+ 124gr. Hydra-Shok JHP. Also as with most Berettas it's easy to field strip and clean. Holsters may be hard to find but I use a Don Hume NO.53-145, this leather belt holster also fits some other pistols I carry. Some shooters find the grip a little too big and the safety/de-cocker a little stiff, but for me a very good match. Now seems to be the time to buy one since the price is right at most venders. Take a look at them on GunBroker.com Online Gun Auction and cdnnsports.com
also visit the beretta forum, but the proof for you will be to hold one and fire it, Good Luck...

Thanks, Moph759fl,

I bought one used last night at my local gun store. They have a indoor range so I had a chance to shoot it before I brought it. I didn't have any problems with it at all. It fits in my hand great and I like the open top design like the Beretta 92 has.

It came with the box, two 10 round mags, and a holster. I haven't had any problems with it at all. Where did you get the 12 round mag for it?

I think the Beretta 9000 is a pretty accurate handgun (for its size) and pretty reliable. The only gripe that people have are how it feels in their hands. If you like how it feels, then I think it will serve you very well.

cdnnsports.com for the pinky rest They came from: WWW.GUNGEARUSA.COM

Glad to be of some help, I also got three extra magazines for my S&W 3913 and it was as good a deal as the ones for the Beretta. By the way did you get the pinky extension for the magazines ?

It came with it, one 10 round mag that had the extension, and one 10 round mag that did not. All together I got the gun, the two mags, gun case, leather holster with all the paper work for just, $250.00. I have shot about 100 rounds so far and it shoots great.
