Pretty warm down here now, too. I hate it. It was nice and cold for a few days, the way it should be, and then yesterday it shot back up into the sixties. After the summer we had down here, I was looking forward to good cold winter. And the horses around here got real thick coats on them so I was thinking we had a chance. Apparently not. Those poor horses must be dying under all that hair.

Don't start disbelieving those horses just yet, SuckLead. I'd wait until the winter's over before deciding whether or not Mother Nature suckered them...

I am so jealous it isn't even funny. I miss that weather so bad. It sucked while I had but now that it is hot all the time I'd give anything for it back!

Horses never seem to lie that way. But we're having strange weather. It'll be 68 during the day and snow during the night. I don't get it, not one bit. But I hope the horses are right, I want me some cold!

3 or 4 days ago it got down to 17 degrees in So. Arkansas
It has been probably been near 70 today and yesterday.
I can live with this but were have a lot of high wind...really high wind and it's been overcast forever here and misting rain. I don't like the high wind.
It wasn't this way when I was a kid...A.H

We had some of that 20 below crap, I was actually deer hunting in it. Now, its about 30 degrees out.

So, what has been happening that past 2 days is, it gets 38 or so, and the some snow melts. Then, it gets 25-30 when the sun goes down, so every surface is just a slick little sheet of ice. Makes for tough driving/walking.

hahaha, it was only 4 below here when I left work(3 hours ago)

it's supposed to be 15-20 below for a few days then back up around 0, i guess we're gonna see our 40 below spring again this year like we did last year. if it's like last year I'll get back from vacation just in time for 30-40 below

It's always this warm here during January. I just hope a cold day or 30 get thrown in somewhere before it gets hot again. This time of year sucks for us because we get heavy fog and it's kind of wet outside without being rainy.

We thought it was the beginning of another 40days-40nights kinda weather. I've never seen so much rain except during monsoon in Vietnam. Thank goodness we live on a hill! Scotty
