Nope; I'm down-river on the California side. I work out of Blythe. Our feed comes from El Paso gas though; we buy it from them and send it on into Southern California.

This is my larger company, but own two more. Block by Block Retaining Walls Ltd.
Started 10 years ago slinging 80-100lb. block all day for $12.00/hr, now I own two construction companies and a small media corp; hard work, ambitious and stubborn as hell made it happen before I hit 35.

For the past 4 3/4 years I've been a stay at home dad taking care of a kid on the autism spectrum. To help the family budget I sell things on eBay, none firearms-related. As a hobby I write erotic fiction and post it on literotica.com; so far it has been well received by the people who comment on my stories, novellas and one novel I've put up there. One day soon I hope to get good enough at writing to submit it to a publisher and be paid for it.

And in my opinion, stay at home dadhood has little to recommend it. I am not domestic (though i cook pretty well), like most parents do the best I can and worry about it at night, and generally would rather be in on the bridge in a hurricane in the North Atlantic than be a stay at home dad.

Let's see... no pictures of my full time job as it stands, but I'm a phone operator. Don't like it, but it pays the bills... now, if only scheduling would let me go to college so I could get into biology like I want to.

On the side for fun, I do some graphics stuff, most of which I sell through my stores on cafepress.com. I also write fiction stuff of various genres that I hope to eventually publish, even if only self-publishing.

Yeah most people i know who aren't self employed never even notice the money missing. Heck alot of people feel like tax returns are the government giving them something. It's a shame how hard people are taxed.

This year has been a learning experience for me with taxes. Before this year I had never had a taxable income worth noting. I have been meaning to hold back 25-30% on my comissions, but for some reason when your 20 money just burns a deep hole in your pocket once you get alittle.

Oh i also did clean-up work after Katrina along with every other able bodied man in MS. Here's a pic of my 2000GMC sierra it was my first truck but then got converted into the fuel truck. My dad owns a construction company and they still beat and dog the poor thing daily with well over 200,000 hard miles. I ran a couple bobcats. Ouch, that will break you from drinking very quickly having to run those things in the morning

If you get your posts mixed up you might give some of these guys a heart attack!
Stay at home dad is a noble thing and may be harder than the hurricane.

That was me too, Kids are a bit older now, so I`m earning money while I can.

I did the plant operating thingy part time ( when needed, I went to work ) but I`m able to work fulltime now. For now.

Nathan, I drive to work in a newish Hyundai, and spend the day in an ancient Volvo

My excavator I consider new, its like a `94 Cat 325L..

LOL Mick, I would love to see you try and get one of those excavators 25-30 meteres off the ground on top of a pile of urea then swing your boom around 2 inches from the roof of the shed.

I used to work at Stratford coal mine back down home in NSW. We had 170t Leibherr's and a 390t O&K.

I and my daughter are both on the spectrum as well (Asperger's Syndrome). PM me sometime.

I repair medical equipment. If you've seen it at a hospital, I've probably worked on it. Currently I do R&D/Repair for a cholesterol testing lab.
