I guess I coulda posted some pics of myself scrubbing the parking lot of my glamorous two-bay fillin' station this morning, but I couldn't hold the hose and the camera at the same time. It's actually more glamorous than it sounds-we have a doughnut shop right across the street! One major plus is, it's less than 1\4 mi from the house. I started three weeks ago with less than 1\2 tank and I still have over 1\4, Woohoo!

What do you do for a living? post a pic of your job-fpso.jpg

I help you run your Gas guzzling cars & trucks. I supervise/manage operations on this thing; a 2 million barrel FPSO (Floating Production Storage & Offload vessel), offshore West Africa.

Like others, I've done many jobs, Soldier, Sailor (Merchant), Mechanic, Fireman, North Sea Tiger (Offshore Oilman), now expat oilman, worked in Europe, Middle East, Canada, Texas, China, South Africa, West Africa.

Wink

AT&T is getting into video. To do this they have mini-central offices(mux's) situated at various locations being fed by fiber-optic cable as well our cell towers. My job is to splice the copper and fiber and turn up the locations so you all will be able to watch HD TV through Ma Bell at a price cheaper than what you're paying now. I'll send some pics as soon as I can.

I just got allocated a new truck and trailer combination to replace my old kenworth W model. Its what we call in australia a B-Double mainly used on the east coast of australia for linehaul freight between the capital cities. Its a Kenworth K104 Aerodyne powered by a Cummings 620HP inline 6 cyl coupled to an Eaton Fuller 18 Autoshift Roadranger gearbox. normally weighs 62.5 tonne fully loaded. nice truck to drive.

I own and run an outfitter shop. We sell most of the stuff you'll need for the outdoors. Lots of fishing gear, clothing back packs, tents, cooking gear, boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. we also sell ammo, and we're planning to extend the building this winter so hopefully we'll have a nice little guns dept. from April 2009!
