What do you do for a living? post a pic of your job

So, I thought i'd start this thread for everyone to get to know a little more about each-other. We all seem to have one thing in common, GUNS! But I find you can tell a lot about a person by knowing what it is they do for most of their lives...me...well, Roadie's not a nick name, I work in show-business, on the technical side that is. Without folks like me, entertainment just wouldn't be. I am a freelance lighting technician/stagehand/LD/many other things. I've been workin shows for since I was in highschool, and after a short stint in the white collar world, I just decided that this was the life for me...It's a great way to earn a buck. I make my own schedule, see all the best shows/concerts ect...meet more celebs than you can shake a stick at, and earn a pretty nice buck at the same time. Here a few pics of some of the shows Ive done this year.

2007 Academy of Counrty Music Awards show, live from Las Vegas...took this from my spotlight position about 60' above the audience on a hanging platform.

The Police World Tour 2007...and yes, it was a great show!

What you are seeing is the stage/audio and lighting for an upcoming world tour, been working rehearsals on this show since last week, not sure if it's been announced here in the states, so I will not say who the artist is...sorry

Oxford, this is a great idea, except some of us inept people out here don't know how to get the pictures over to the board. I worked in commercial construction until forced into retirement by more surgery. Now that I've gotten bored with it, I'm finishing up gunsmithing school and putting out a shingle. ATF called yesterday, and said they're coming to see me Wednesday, so I'm really close to getting my FFL. Then a business license, and I'm set to go. Ther are pics of my new workplace in the gallery, and my first rebuild, a savage 7mm mag. Scotty

This is what I do right now: Auto Truck Transport Home – Leader in truck transport. Driving jobs available.

I am going to be leaving here to take over management of my son's full-service service station in a week or so. I also build custom grips for handguns.

I hope to. I'll probably start with my ancient laptop. As busy as the place stays, I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to use it though.

And your avatar is a guy who's missing his dentures.. I like it!!

I service paper machines. The ones that make paper and make the local area kinda smelly.. I work mostly on the wet end of the machine, where it's normally 98% or so water and 2% wood fiber..
