All southern members, Please check in!

We finally got a signal this morning, and I'm so tired, it's hard to see the keys. Please, everyone affected by the storm, check in and let us know you're okay. We were lucky, hilltops don't usually flood. But our pond overflowed on both sides, and the rain guage gave up at ten inches. Don't know when that happened, but sometime last night. We are just north of the path the storm took, and I guess Grand Lake helps to funnel it away from us. But we're concerned about members who might have been in the path or lowlying areas. And by the way, that mess is still alive and headed toward the Great Lakes. Anyway, it'll be good to hear that everyone is alright. AH, that includes you and your fellow Arkansawyers, your area got hit pretty hard, too. Just give a quick I'm okay, and put our minds at rest. Funny how you spend time on this forum and get to caring about everyone, it speaks volumes about the quality of the folks here. We'll be waiting to hear from ya'll. Scotty

Were very much O.K. all we've had is high wind with misting rain. It's the werdest weather I've ever seen here.
It's been overcast since Christmas and as I type this the sun just popped out ! I hope it hangs around for a while because it hasn't been around in a while.
I've also noted some of the blackest clouds passing over since Christmas.
It is also warm out which makes for Tornado's.

Seabeescotty thank you for careing and your concern. Mike aka A.H

We had a lot of gulley washers back in November and just a few showers here and there since.

Doin ok this mornin, but it was a rough night, we were under a tornado warning for most of the evening, the wind was blowin like a hurricane, there was a lot of debris in the street this mornin, lots of thunder and lightening. Oh and can't forget the rain, there was some flooding up in Benton County, which took the brunt of the storm. I do hope that everyone is safe this morning.

Midas I noticed yesterday afternoon Benton county stayed under a Tornado warning until late at night.
I really don't know when it expired but it had to be a record here in Arkansas for the longest Tornado warning.
Glad to here your O.K cuz LOL

I live in Stillwater and all we got was a little rain and hail. We had a terrific light show to the east all evening, though.

My oldest boy and his family live near Mazie and the storms seemed to have gone through just barely to the north of them. He didn't say anything about the rain, just called to let me know that the funnels didn't get them.

BTW, the ice storm last month completely missed us, also. Strange how those lines of weather are so sharp sometimes. Go just a few miles and it's like nothing happened.

Glad to hear everyone came out safe, though.

I just saw on the news that the storm has reached Wis. and Ill. Everyone let us know you're okay. This has got to be one of the worst we've had, since the ice storm last year. I hope everyone rides it out okay! Scotty
