What does anybody think of .22 federal champion hollowpoints...

I haven't tried them, but they look like they are a good deal.

Federal ammo

I have found all of it to be of good quality.
One hint for .22's is to keep you chamber
clean and lightly oiled as residue does build up.

Thanks i use Cci mini-mags most of the time. They are a little expensive so I thought about Federal Champions. I also use Remington golden bullets which seem to work fairly good. Thanks for the feedback.

I have had a decent amount of failure to fire rounds with the Federal bulk pack. I load them again and they fire. It makes me wonder if there are production issues with even spreading of the primer material. When they fire (the majority of the time), they are fine.

Assuming these are the 36 grain HP in bulk (525 rounds) , we've run through two bricks in our Browning Buckmark SA with no problem... just a few misfires (well struck but did not go off)... not bad for inexpensive, bulk ammo. Did not seem overly dirty either.

Nice to get some feedback on this because I have been thinking about trying the
36 grain HP in bulk (525 rounds). It's the cheapest I can get here in Iceland.

Like all 22's you have to try them and see if the work in your gun two exact same looking guns will shoot the same ammo different. One will love it the other spread it like buckshot. I have had good luck with Fed. ammo, I like the classics they shoot good in some of my handguns.
