CZ 52 field strip

Here is my version. It takes less than a minute to dissamble and reassemble.

I don't spend any time talking my way through it just took it apart and put it back together.

Parts removed. Magazine, slide, barrel and spring, firing pin, firing pin retainer.

That is an impressive video. Is the mag designed to do that, or is that something you figured out on your own?

Yeah, it's pretty to field strip a CZ52. The mag is supposedly designed to do that but I use a steel punch slightly smaller than the hole in the bottom of the barrel to remove the barrel. That way it doesn't fly away from me and I have better control over the barrel.

The mag tang is designed to fit into a slot under the barrel between the rollers. It works perfectly. I suppose you could improvise a punch but I like to disassemble weapons without extra tools.

Might be fun to get into a contest on how fast the process could be done. I think it could be done in 30 seconds with practice.

Maybe I will make videos on speed stripping other weapons. The Hipoint handgun can be challenging.

I'l be daggoned! I have snapped the action closed on my left hand several times, inflicting painful damage, using a wide bladed screwdriver during reassembly. Next time I'll use the magazine. If you don't do this right you can also shoot the barrel across the room from the force of the recoil spring. Thanks!
