Testing range

Any government such as ours or any other first world country, of necessity, has secure facilities to develop and test weaponry, aircraft, electronics, and so on . . . . That does not mean they have reverse engineering from extraterrestrial craft that have somehow navigated the cosmos only to crash on earth. The ET thing is a personal peeve of mine and does not relate to you or your post.

I never believed they killed the SR71 program without having another bird in service to replace it. Lots of weird stuff flying in that area.
I've read that the SR71 engines are STILL the most advanced jet engines ever put into service - this is late-fifties technology!
No telling what they've developed in all those years . . .

Yes, I believe they test secret aircraft, weapons at Area 51, no aliens or any of that nonsense.

Tried to peek in there one time with a spotting scope, and got run off. For all I know, it could be a nudist colony for gummint types. Uncle Sam works in mysterious ways! Never seen or heard any explosions, so they ain't testing that kinda stuff, and the fence resembles one that I saw at a nudist colony outside of San Bernardino. Got run off from there, too!! Scotty

interesting

A most interesting base. Yes they do have 'secrets' and you should find that piece from the HISTORY channel; fly in day workers, sign your life away, work a week straight then flown back to central depot.
Most interesting.

Can anyone Honestly say at area 51 they are NOT reverse engineering the documented and witnessed captured Alien spacecraft our Govt has in its possession that it still denies??? ( The "Acorn " from Ohio, or the Roswell Craft...)
How about the development of the "Aurora" that has been witnessed by airline pilots...
Remember when Ronald Reagan wanted Star wars Projects to protect us from Invaders from Space....
Makes ya Wonder !

So I am sure you all will think I'm full of it, but I was told by an old guy that worked as a fabrication enginer and radar expert for the airforce right after ww11 (he had been a bomber piolt during the war that is confirmed), then mcdonnel douglas and lockheed during the development of a variety of stealth projects (that is confermed facts and when he died and I cleaned out his stuff found goverment papers he had saved regarding his own personal security clearance (including time cards and check stubs). Plus pictures of him in the new mexico desert with all sort of radar antennas and arays and weird triangle shaped radar targets). being interestead in the possibilities, on several occasions I talked with him about roswell and area 51. on roswell all he said is that there was a lot more to that then people knew or would belive but would not go into detail. As far as area 51 he told me there were a lot of things there that people wouldn't understand or belive also. That is all the detail he would go into. but if you asked him what he thought of ufos and aliens he was an ardent beliver. Maybe he was full of BS but it didnt seem so and he never said there was any conection between them.

All I know is that when I stopped into the combination truckstop, casino, and brothel on the hwy that borders it to get a bite to eat, I saw a few women walking around that were definitely not of this world!

Whatever they're developing there, it doesn't seem to be very useful. We're mired down in Afghanistan and Iraq, we can't reliably tell what's going on in Iran or N. Korea, we couldn't rescue our soldiers in the streets of Mogadishu, they can't stop civilians from racing across the borders in the dark, . . .

What the heck are they developing? It doesn't have night vision, it isn't invisible to 3rd world anti-aircraft batteries (3 guys on a roof with binoculars and SVD's), . . .

I can't believe that the military has been developing anything there or they would have been using it.

Unless it really is true that we're fighting a "silent war" against aliens and/or zombies on another planet or plane of existence. It would help to explain our national debt when none of that money is getting spent on bridges here in Oklahoma.

I know where the aliens are, or at least where they come and go from: the Los Angeles Crest Highway. Both ends of it are crowded, and the middle is deserted. Think about it: if you have a ton of cars going into the mountains on that road, and a ton coming out, shouldn't there be a ton in the middle too?

Obviously the aliens drive into the mountains, around a bend and out of sight, and transport safely to their destinations. They come back the same way, reappearing from just around the bend and driving past you on into our world...

Between area 50 and area 52. Some experimental aircraft and electronics maybe, no to alien tech and UFO's.

If they did have extremely advanced technology, they wouldn't waste it in small wars like those over seas. What if something failed and got into the wrong hands? It'd be on the market to the highest bidder. My personal opinion is that it all started with German research that was captured immediately following WWII and they've just been researching further and developing more advanced machines. I also believe in "ufo"s but not as extraterrestrial beings, usually. I think a very few possibly could be something from somewhere else, but I believe the vast majority are government experiments that they aren't about to let anyone in on. Think about it. If they came up with a way to transport things in the way "ufos" act, they would have to explain it, THEN explain why they kept it secret when it would so obviously help in many areas not related to war. As said before, there would be a mad rush from other countries to secure the plans for such things and if that happened, the result would be that everyone dies in a very short period.
